About Chicfashion.ph

Chicfashion.ph is one of the first online sellers in Facebook back in 2011 at San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. The owner, Rio Santos-Ursua, was back then a student mom who temporarily stopped studying for a semester because she had to give birth to their first daughter. While at home taking care of the baby, she came up with putting up her small business online which is selling clothes, shoes, homemade food (baked mac), snacks (cookies, nachos, etc.) and so on.

When she was back to studying, she also became a direct seller of Sophie Paris Philippines and started selling Sophie's clothes, shoes and bags to teachers and students of Central Luzon State University. People were amazed by her perseverance in doing business while studying and taking care of their baby.

Apparently, when she graduated, she became busy with work and being a "full time mom" for years, that she stopped her online business.

Unexpectedly, after 9 years, she and her mother started selling Top Grade Quality Bags (Chanel, Gucci, MCM, Hermes, Coach, Dior, etc.) online during the COVID19 pandemic. Her facebook page Chicfashion.ph then became active again. She now sells bags and wallets to her colleagues, principals and teachers in the DepEd Division of San Jose City. She also helps her elder sister sell homemade korean food (gimbap, kimchi, japchae, stir fried fishcake, tteokbokki, etc.) and pizzas.

She now has 2 kids, 1 husband 😂, working at office while doing business and taking care of her kids (Online school is really challenging!).

During this time of pandemic, we tend to get stressed and be worried with what can happen to us and our family. But always remember that our mental health is also a top priority. Find things that you love to do, enjoy your time with your loved ones, take time to relax and take care of yourself. Be like Rio who spends her time taking care of her family while earning online. It's not easy to do business during these times, but trying won't hurt. Let's just continue to be careful and be responsible enough to follow health protocols everywhere we go.
